La Asociación Española de Distribuidores y Editores de Software de Entretenimiento is a Spanish Association operating as representative of the authors' rights. It was constituted in October 1997 with the intention to represent and to contribute to the development of the industry. Some of the aims of the association are:
- To inform consumers, parents, educators and society generally, about the content of entertainment software products
- To defend the interests of the companies of entertainment software
- To fight against piracy by means of participation in the adoption of an effective legislation and the development of campaigns of awareness to the society about the damages that this cause
- To promote and publish information and studies on subjects and problems that affect the industry of entertainment software.
